This workshop is an opportunity to reconnect with the lineages of ceremony and prayer which may have been broken in our history. This is an chance to awaken and deepen your relationship with the sacred that is unbroken within you through the profound healing and transformative qualities of ceremony. We will reconnect with the power of ceremony and remember how to dance our prayers. Medicine Dance is an extended weekend workshop and ceremony grounded in the shamanic pathways of Movement Medicine dance practice. This is a chance to get to know and stregnthen your relationship with your own personal circle of the unseen supports and gaurdians, including spirit animals with the support and inspiration of the shamanic maps of Movement Medicine. The four elements are manifestations of the divine and we are made from them. Dancing them is a way to connect to our deepest nature, to nature around us and to the nature of existence. Together, with the support of these elements and elemental gaurdians we will co-create and dance into ceremony for deep dreaming and healing for ourselves and for all our relations. We will dance in ceremony with self, others, community, ancestors and the Divine.
Whether you are a long term dancer or newcomer you will come away with a tool kit of practical and subtle exercises relevant for meeting the challenges of walking this life in these times.
